how to get a small mortgage with bad credit?
5 years ago, i suddenlt lost my job and had to switch carreers. before then i had a little debt, like doctor bills, but nothing major. when i lost the job, i had my car repo'd, i lost my house i was renting, (but i dont think it was reported), got sued for 1000 dollers, and owed various other small things. now i have a good job making double what i was making before i lost the job 5 years ago and i found a nice little place in pa mountains for 40 thousand. my question: with no collateral except for a 500 doller 15 year old satern, no co-signer, is it possible to get a mortgage? id be a first time home buyer, if that meens anything. i can easily afford 1500 a month payment, so i doubt id have a problem making payments
