Default How can I get my name off of our mortgage,...

...get full custody and move out of state? I am very unhappy in my relationship with my son's father (we are not married) and have been since before our son was born. We own a home together, both names are on the mortgage. I am currently not working as he requested I quit my job 5 months ago to stay at home with our son as we did not want him in day care, and his father works nights so was unable to watch him while I was at work or school.I have decided I want to end the relationship and want to allow him to stay in the house while I move with my son into an apartment. I want to get full custody of my son as I feel it would be in his best interest as I am sole caretaker and he spends 90% of his time with me anyways.I want to get my name off of the mortgage, is that even possible? So I will no longer be financially responsible for the house and to ensure that my credit stays golden in case he decides to stop making payments. Also, I've been wanting to move back to my home state of Ohio (we live in Missouri) and would want to relocate as wellThis is a lot going on but his father has a history of verbal abuse and violence (not to physically harm us, but objects/home/cars. etc) I am just not IN love with him any more and want to start a fresh life.I am willing to allow my son a month of visitation each summer, some holidays and any other chance possible for visitation with his father as well as frequent phone calls and video calls. However, I do not know how to go about any of this. In need of some legal advice, but obviously cannot get a lawyer at the moment as I have no job.

about mortgage u do not ask a lawyer, u ask your bank. and u do it absolutely free. if your husband agrees to take u from the mortgage and bank doesn't mind - there is no problem. if your husband has bad credit history bank will not agree upon letting u go so u will have to sell the house and return money to the bank or u will stay on the mortgage and be responsible for it. about u moving away with your child and getting full custody - again if your husband agrees with your demands there will be no problem. if he disagrees - u can not relocate and get full custody. u do not need a lawyer to figure out that cos he has equal rights with u. but anyhow fathers re usually not so into children anyway so maybe your husband would agree. when i was leaving my husband with our 3 children he didn't argue at all. now they visit him on weekends and very often he calls them and tells them he is busy so they won't come. maybe your husband is not into your child so he won't mind. also if u do not have a job and never nad a credit how can your credit stay golden? u have no credit history
