I live in N.W. Georgia, I have a 745 credit score and I have never owned a house. What range of percentages should I expect. What % would be great, what is the maximum that i should acceptr? And about what % would be a rip-off? Thanks for your help

4.5 to 5.5 would be a good range right now. The higher would be a rip off with your score I would expect to see 4.7 to 5.1 or so.

? around 3-5 % look in sunday paper they post the rates and go for no or low closing costs and only buy what you really want, dont have to remodel ur house unless it was really cheap to start with always negotiate a lower price.. best of luck

If you can get a 30 year fixed rate mortgage around 4 5/8 you will be in pretty good shape.
