Mortgage approval and a new job?
I would like to buy a house in July or August (maybe even September).I am currently looking at a job that pays considerably more than the one I have. When I apply for my loan, could they hold it against me that I have only been with my employer for a month or two (I've been with my current employer for 8 years now)?A new job could really help with a perspective mortgage, but I don't want to take it if it will ruin my chances of even getting approved for one.

i don't think that would matter being you have good work history.

If you have been at the new job a short amount of time, they will look at your previous job - With 8 years there, you will be fine for a mortgage as far as this is concerned.
