Default How can I transfer a mortgage from one bank to

another? I desperately want out of Wells Fargo Bank, as they refuse to work with any of their clients, and are unresponsive to our needs. I want to bring my business to another bank, how do I go about doing this while avoiding huge closing costs. Thank you!

Unfortunately, mortgages are not like bank accounts. You cannot control who services your mortgage. You can try refinancing, but another lender can always buy your mortgage later and your servicer could change again. I agree that Wells Fargo can be difficult to deal with.

What type of issues are you having?
