...mortgage were do i stand? Me and my ex girlfriend purchased a house 3 years ago with a joint mortgage for £74,000 we both paid roughly £1000 each deposit after 6 month we split up and I carried on paying for the mortgage she was really bitter about the situation and involved courts and solicitor. I’ve always offered to pay back what she paid into the house but she always wanted more. She’s now run up a big solicitor cost and court cost that I have been ordered to pay. I came to the dissension that it would be best to sell the property but as I’ve been paying the mortgage and maintain the property would I be able to claim back any work that I have had done plus the difference I’ve made to the mortgage? For instance when she left the property the outstanding amount on the mortgage was £73,000 now the outstanding mortgage is £65,000 plus I’ve spent roughly 10,000 maintaining the property

You would think the courts would do the right thing....but NO. They will screw the man every time, as I have seen it. Men should learn that the courts are for a woman every time and stay clear of most women. they can not be trusted to do what is right, if they want to go bed hopping with others. I'm truly sorry for you. Please don't give the lawyers and courts everything you can make to fight a loosing battle. Walk away, just like she did. (run as fast as possible from this woman) Women have become so evil, these days. Look at the website about 'Malicious Mother Syndrome. Check out the Father's rights sites. Just look at how the Men and Father are being treated by the courts.
