escrows...We closed on our home on dec 12 of 2008. We paid a sum? We closed on our home on dec 12 2008 we paid a sum in line 213 of our closing Hud for the property taxes from 1/1/08-12/11/08 to our Title people/whoever takes the money probably our mortgage company. We want to know what happened to that money because our escrow just paid out the property taxes from that time period out of our money and now says we are deficient that amount. The mortgaged company and escrow people say that the title company was to have paid that amount to the cook county property tax people. How do I find out what happened to that money so I don't owe it to my escrow???
