Default Will a recent Medical Collection affect us
closing on mortgage loan???..please help!!? We are closing Dec11th, I just paid off a medical collection that said "REPORTED". The letter was dated Nov13th. Just paid it today (Nov25) How will this affect us closing on this loan?The collection was for $455.00 paid in full.also, about how many points could this possibly drop.i also recently paid off two credit cards, since they pulled my credit for the pre-approval a couple of months ago. my credit score was at about 670
