Default Will I go to jail for not paying child support?

I've paid the mortgage? I was ordered to pay child support to my wife and kids two years ago. I haven't paid money but I paid the mortgage note on my house. She lives there with the kids. The house is in my name only but I bought is when we were married. She doesn't own it and I have always paid all the expenses, she has mental issues and had to stay home with the kids as she couldn't work. We are not divorced but she got a child support order. My wife has filed to get me to pay the child support to her.Can the judge send me directly to jail from the courtroom? Will I go to jail? Is there anything I can do now?I don't see the kids because she has mental health issues and I can't deal with her. It is too painful for me to go back there.
