Default Can I close/eliminate my foreclosed 2nd mortgage...

...without paying them? Per California CCP 580b.? Foreclosed 10/2007. 80/20 purchase money loans. 1st sent me a 1099-C, 2nd has not. I haven't received a statement from my 2nd for over 6 months. I have never received a phone call. However they still are reporting as an open account on my credit report. I'm suffering because of my poor credit rating showing a $90k delinquent debt. Since they can't collect per the California Code of Civil Procedures 580b., what are my options? What it looks like is I can:A) Pay them - Settle for a lessor amount.B) Not pay them - Wait 5 years for it to fall off my credit report. Settling seems like a lot of money, just to get them off of my credit report as an open delinquent account. Is there a way I can not pay thousands of dollars and change their reporting status or even remove them from my credit report?Should I call Lexington Law?Thanks!
