Can a real estate agency demand credit &...

...personal info from you if you're already been approved for a mortgage? I'm buying through one real estate agency, but the agency selling the house is demanding my credit scores, pay stubs, letters from my employer, etc. before they'll sell me a house. However my mortgage company has already approved me for the loan! Can they legally do this?
