Default How to re-mortgage my house when the value of the...

...house has dropped significantly? Because my divorce, I have to re-mortgage my house to remove my ex wife's name from the mortgage. Well, I live in the suburbs of Detroit and the home values have dropped so much, I owe more then the house is worth. At this rate, I do not have the requested 10% equity for standard banks to re-mortgage my house. What are my options? The lawyer said I have 90 days to get her name off the mortgage...what do I do? Any help would be appreciated!

I notice you don't have the right lawyer working in your behalf with solutions.... these are the times where both ex's are living under one roof.... maybe this could be your solution.Good luck!
