Major for Mortgage Loan Officer?

I was thinking of becoming either a mortgage loan officer or a broker, but what degree would be more beneficial than the other; Accounting or finance? I keep hearing that a person with an accounting degree could get any job that a person with a finance degree can, but not the other way around. Thanks in advance.
