Default Getting a divorce, can I make my ex help pay my mortgage

payment? I'm getting behind!? My ex and I are getting a divorce, he has decided he doen'st want to help with the mortgage anymore. Our payment is 2200 a month and I only make 2000. His name isn't on the mortgage though but we have lived in the home together. Is he still obligated to pay even because we are still married? Is there anything I can do? Can I ask for spousal support before we even file for divorce? I only have two months left in the house but I can't pay them.ok to clear a few things....divorce hasn't been filed yet, yes the home was in my name but we agreed to purchase it together, it is on a contract for deed in which i be able to get out of it in two months, i already work 50 hours a week and i take care of our daughter full time and yes i have had several job interviews and continue to look for another pt job that works with my current schedule. i know i can file for immediate child support but can i also get immediate spousal support (temporary that is....) i work my tail off at my job pulling 12-14 hour shifts, i can't help it my job doesn't pay 6 figures like his, believe me i wasn't planning on being divorced a year after we chose that house TOGETHER

What does the divorce agreement say in terms of who is supposed to do (and pay for) what? You know, divorce is not a meal ticket or income for you in case you can't make it on your own. Move out of the house, sell it, and move into something that you can afford on your own salary and stop expecting someone else to carry you.

i don't think if his name isn't on the mortgage u can make him to pay. i mean will he get 50% of the house after the divorce? and u can postpone paying the mortgage - go to bank and ask there to pay just percentage of your loan. it will be just a hundred or smth. pay it untill u sell the house
