that is one of the problems with HUD counselors there is no follow up. There have been many instances that VA has also dropped the ball where a workout is an option. There is no law that says a lender has to give you options but getting the right people behind you that understand the options can be very beneficial. Some can do this alone but in most instances they are not getting the best plan available. We will see what the government can do, holding breath.
