...card can I use my passport and driver's license as ID? I am in the process of getting a mortgage and of the documents they need a copy of my driver's license and social security card are one of the things. I lost my social security a while ago but I have a current passport, can I substitute the social security for my US Passport?Please only real answers to the question not suggestions to replace the social security card, because I was able to use a passport in replace of my SS CARD as ID when getting a job and getting a personal bank loan.Simple yes or no answers with any information explain why to help me out.
