Default Divorce is final, still have mortgage together, how does

it affect tax filing status? Now that divorce is final, I know that I have to change tax status to single/zero but what happens to the mortgage which we are both still responsible for? How is that done for tax purposes? He pays the mortgage from his account and then I write a check to him?We have the house up for sale and we both still live here. We will continue to live in it until it sells.
