Default loan modification situation

I was already 2 months behind in my payments before I applied for a loan modification. It’s been 2 months since I’ve applied and still no word from the lender. I am already worried about my accumulating unpaid overdue payments. Will my lender foreclose on my property?

Default Re: loan modification situation

By now you should have launched a series of follow up calls regarding your application. It may have been under their piles of paperwork and forgotten or intentionally neglected since you are not following up on it. This is what you usually get if you do your loan modification alone. The lender may foreclose on your property but you can inform them that you have a pending application for a loan modification. Do yourself a favor. This time get some help from a loan modification specialist.

Default loan modification I need help

to answer your most important question. Yes, the lender will foreclose on your property if you continue to not make payments. You need to continue to save at least a payment a month or more and get into crisis budget mode. Once in crisis budget you will be able to save more. You need to follow up with your lender on your loan mod request and be sure they have all required docs. If you need additional help please contact us.
