Depends on how far you are behind.A foreclosure costs a mortagage company bigtime. So often they will work with you. There are many things. They might allow you to just make the interest payments for several months. Sure it will cost you more down the road but that is later down the road. Some will allow no payments for a few months. Again it will cost but that is later.You have to communicate with your mortgage company.
