recently I was laid off,and I have not as yet
found a job.I'm 3-4 payments behind on my 2nd mortgage.? I will find employment,meanwhile in this down economy I do not want forclosure on my home .Ive been makeing pymts for over 10 yrs.What kind of help should I seek?

You don't have to worry about forclosure at this momant as you still paying your 1st mortgage. Think about rent one or two rooms for some extra money. Some people even rent out the whole house and sleep in the garage. Do you have 401k that you can pull some money out? Do you have a line of credit that you opened in the past? Stock and bond? Those are the source of money you can use to keep up your payment. Hope you can get a job soon. Good luck.

The last thing you want is for the bank to do a foreclosure n put your name in the 'black list' which is gonna affect your future. Try talking to the bank to arrange some payment, if not then sell your house away so you need not owe the bank too much. mail me if u need help calculating the bal you owe if you sell your house.
