Default I have unpaid debts that occured 6 years...
...ago, and have just got a mortgage garantee? But I want to rent from a letting agency, does this mean I will pass the credit check as I did with the mortgage guarantee?

Depends. If those unpaid debts appear on the credit report, it may very well be an issue. But, even if they are, some lenders overlook them if they were medically related. Just depends.
