[Foreclosure Questions]

I just got a chapter 7 discharged and my mortgage was included, I didn't understand what this meant until now. I want to keep the house but I am behind the mortgage company won't work with me. My attorney told me to ask if they would work with me or he will file chapter 13. I need advice.

well if you are still coded in the lenders system as a status "B" for bankruptcy the bank is not allowed to discuss your debt with you.
* very important, if you want to keep your home be sure to reaffirm your debt or you will not be able to get a loan modification in the future. There are serious issues if you do not reaffirm your debt.
