Default qualified for a loan modification???

I read in one article that in order to be qualified for loan modification, the mortgaged home should be my primary residence. Will renting it out disqualify me?

Default Re: qualified for a loan modification???

It sounds like you have rented the whole house and you are living in another home. In many cases, rented or leased homes can still qualify for loan modification provided that you meet the other requirements. Consult a loan modification specialist who can study your case and work with your lender.
