is selling houses we bid on to her other clients? We've been working with the same agent for a while now, over a year. We've placed bids on multiple homes, some she's found for us and others that we found. The issue is, even when we're bidding 20K over asking, we're not getting the house. Our agent has a lot of clients and seems to be selling fairly well from her busy schedule. I just want to be sure we're losing out to other people and not our realtor going behind our back to get a bigger commission.We are pre-approved by 3 different banks, so that isn't an issue. I've looked up a few of the houses we've bid on and see that their selling price is only a bit over our offers. I know 20K over seems like a lot but we're looking in Chicago, in neighborhoods where the average selling price is much higher than the listing price. Also, we're placing bids on some homes the day they come on the market, never more than a few days after.
