My husband and I are looking to purchase a new home for 230k. We plan to keep the exixting home with we only owe 50k and will be using it for business purpose. The problems is we both work regular full time jobs now but, I'm wanting to quite my job and focus on the business which will bring in lot more money than I'm currently making.How long after quitting my job will we be able to apply for a mortage loan based on my business and my husbands income. We were just prequalified(with the income on both full time jobs) for a lower amount but, we are buying our retirement home and will like to get want we really want. So what should we do? How long after quitting my job will We be able to apply for a new constuction loan?
