the 2nd mortgage to give mean aanswer? I bought a condo in 2005 for 80k and owe 60k on the 1st and 10k on the 2nd and is ony worth 65 -70 Now,I cant sell or will lose alot,cant rent it and dont want to,I am considering a deed and lieu but can not get the 2nd Mortgage to to settle or just give me an an answerI have not lived at property for over 3 years and moved every thing out 6 months ago,I did pay and pay up to date until december 2010 thinking I could hold onto it and the sell it hoping the market will come back and dont see that happening, what can I lose or will the banks settle ,I have nothing but a job that just pays the bills, can they force me into bankruptcy or garnish my wages I would have considered selling it but is just going to cost me more and more anf nothing to gain other than my Credit score.I just want to walk away and make a selttlement and cant get them to give me an answer,I have already lost over 20k and dont think it would be very fair to take more from me
