Default Self employed, bad credit history but big

deposit..what are my chances for a mortgage? ? I've been self employed for the last 3 yrs. (So therefore have 3 yrs of accounts) although I didn't earn an awful lot in those 3 yrs so I also did temp work to fill in the gaps. I've now made my self employment my full time job, and I'm earning a lot more then I was.I have a bad credit history - although all my debts have been paid off as of dec 2010. So first of all how long will it take to get my score to a gd level again?Secondly, we already have a mortgage on a house that we rent out. We want to sell that house on a part exchange and use the equity (roughly £30,000) to put down on a new house. So with all these factors (self employed, bad credit, but big deposit) what are my chances of getting a mortgage? Uk only please
