What would the monthly payments on a 314.
thousand dollar mortgage? total.? 30 year fixed rate and what would be expected as a down payment? 20%? I need the best estimate on what the total monthly would be and the down payment.

Depends on what the interest rate is. Knowing its a fixed rate isn't enough.

In the UK you can telephone some banks, ask for their mortgage department and ask your question. It depends on the interest rate and other terms & conditions and it depends your personal circumstances and on how competitively priced the various banks are and on how much deposit/down payment you have got. You could also contact independent financial advisers, they will do research for you free of charge.
