My friend put his name on my mortgage to help me get one, now he wants his name off so he can buy his own house hes not getting any money out off the house so its just taking the name off.I know its not just as simply as phoning up and saying take it off but could someone tell me what i have to do? Another problem is they probable wont give me a mortgage on my own even though i have been paying this one on my own for 4 years what shall i do? You have to refinance to get his name off your mortgage.If you can't get a loan, you won't be able to refinance.
