My mom wants to give us there house. There is a mortgage on the house. My mom is ill and I have been making all the payments for the last year. So what would be the best way to go about this. Someone said since I have been making payments that to call the mortgage company and see if they will transfer the loan. But Im sure how true this is.thank you I think I will just purchase the house for what they owe and do it that way. They have a awful rate on there mortgage anyway.
