...Lender said we won't qualify for mortgage for 2 years? Husband has been a hairdresser his whole life.We are moving 3 hours north and he will be quitting his job to start at a new hairsalon. The lender I spoke to today said we will not be able to buy a home until he is at his new job for at least 2 years, even though it is the exact same line of work. Is this accurate?How can we get around this? We own a home now and will be selling, and she told me that we can not say that he will continue work here, since his job would be three hours from our new home. I can't believe we'd have to wait two whole years! Is this even accurate? We have a family and I am very dissapointed!
