property, Refinanced it to a larger amount.? so she could pay off some of her own bills we have recently discovered the taxes will be 3 yrs behind in May of 2011 with someone already paying the back taxes for 2yrs and holding a lien on them. What can I do to obtain the property back from her without having to pay for her billsMy mom divorced her dad many years ago and still continued a relationship with the stepsister. There was a loan on the property when she took it over she then went in and redid the loan for the full value amount of the property for her own benefit the orignal amount was for 24000.00 the new amount was for 52000.00 for 30 yrsThe ex stepsister owns it with my mom having Right of Survivorship. My mom isn't Dead yet , she is worried she will lose her home because the ex stepsister has not paid the back taxes and there is a Tax Lien on it. Plus the fact that she may end up defaulting on the loan. My mom is very much alive and when she agreed to this it was because she believed in her and trusted her. the stepsister is not very responsible when it comes to finances, mom is not in the position to work to be able to pay and barely survives on what income they have. Their needs to be alot of repairs done to the home and the stepsister has not nor is willing to do them
