Default Mortgage assumption, questions and tips please?
My "ex-fiance" and I purchased a home 9 months ago, she decided to leave and now it's just me at the house. BOTH our names are on the mortgage. I am having the "assumption packet" sent to me from Chase (bank)...I am wondering if this is a good process to take, I just want her name OFF the mortgage completely and she agrees to that aswell. I have paid every mortgage payment to date, so I hope this will be an easy process... any thoughts or suggestions?
