Default Lawsuit from second mortgage loan?
I have filed for bankruptcy do I have to file an answer with the court and pay filing fee regarding lawsuit or by filling for bankruptcy this will stop the lawsuit. Bankrutcy lawyer said I had to let the court know but court wants me to file an answer and charge me a filing fee of $395. I went to court and judge said the court was also broke and I should pay an installment fee. The lawsuit is from second mortgage for breach of contract on money lent. - edit
