Default Can my mortgage company take my house for...

...unpaid land taxes? I was originally with a mortgage company, then I filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy a little over 2 yrs ago. Well since then, I have made my bankruptcy payments on time every week. My "original" mortgage company has continued to send me statements from where my bill was paid through the bankruptcy every month. Last year, I was behind 1 yr on my land taxes, and I paid it off. I still owed for the yr that I was still in, but it wasn't due right then. So I was told that I could pay it in January and there would be no problem with that. So that is what I am planning on doing. Well a few days ago, I get a letter in from my mortgage company saying that I am behind on my land taxes from 07 thru 08 (which I paid in full Feb 2010). All I owe for now is 2009s land taxes. Well the letter stated that since I was behind, they were going to pay it, but in return, they were going to foreclose on my property. Is this even legal for them to be doing this to me? Has anyone else been through this? I thought since I went bankrupt, I had nothing else to do with them now. I thought that all the issues would go through my bankruptcy lawyer, am I wrong? Now these land taxes that they are talking about have already been paid, and I only have my house on 2 of the acres. I still have 1 extra acre that I never included in my house. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You must consult that attorney again. Hope you have all the correspondence and receipts.
