Default How can I help with my Mom's mortgage?

My Mom is going through a lot of hardships right now. She's a single Mom of two; my older brother and I. My brother is currently beginning his Sophomore year of college, and I am about to begin my Junior year of high school.Back to the issue. Since school is starting, the basic necessities are needed: school clothes, school supplies, and room and board money (for my brother). My Father isn't helping with much, except for the child support, which is less than it should be, a lot less. His uses the excuse that he has another family to take care of, which doesn't matter to me, because WE came first, not them..My Mother is struggling to pay for so many things at once, so I want to help her with something.Which is why I am asking this question. How can I help with the mortgage? What are some ways that I can help with any payment? I just want to help with something. I cannot get a job because I'm trying to put all of my focus to school. So I will just be saving money for a while.Thank you to whoever answers. God bless! You guy's answers are great! They almost made me tear up.. :']I just want to do something special for someone before I leave the Earth, and I though this would be a great idea. Thanks again for you're awesome answers! God bless you all!

The only way you can help with bills is by putting some of your money towards them. What if you took the lowest bill each month for a while - whatever you feel is fair for you to do. I think that would help and I'm sure your mom would see your efforts. Maybe some of the clothes you presently have will be ok for starting school? Also for your brother? If you find you can't help with bills, just help around the house (maybe you already do). That will help take some stress off your mom's responsibilities. Surprise her with her favorite desert occasionally and a handwritten card telling her you appreciate everything she does for you and your brother. things like that are sure to cheer her and make her day. Just knowing she is appreciated for her efforts makes the effort seem more worthwhile. Also talk with your brother - sometimes two heads work better than one. Maybe you can come up with a scheme together how to make things easier for your mom. I hope he's game.
