Default In the UK, how do I add my name to the land

register and deeds of a property that no longer has a mortgage? I have inherited a half share of the property from my mother, upon her passing away three years ago, while my father retains his half. My father is currently the only person registered on the deeds and land register for this property. He wishes for my name to be added. I live in the property, while he lives in Scotland. The mortage has just been paid off.Do I need to get a solicitor involved, and incur expensive fees, or can I download forms to complete the process myself?
