[Stuck in the Middle Ages]

...a mortgage broker in a fairly affluent area? We are not living in an affluent area but contacted a mortgage broker located in one in the Maryland suburbs of DC. The refinance rate we were offered is great (0 points, 4.5%, 30-year fixed). The processing fee is $775 and the underwriting fee is $650. Do these seem reasonable?Thanks for any insight.I'm asking in DC because people who live in the area know more about local costs than people outside the area. Obviously this is not a travel question, but it is a regional one.Thanks for the answers. The processing fee is separate from the appraisal and settlement fees. I will pay a reissue rate for the title insurance, also separate from the processing and underwriting fees.
