Default If you remove an ex spouse from a mortgage, will

your credit generally go up or down? I am assuming the loan on my house--taking my ex spouse off the home loan. With the home soon only on my credit, will that make my credit score go up because I'm no longer attached to his bad credit... or will my credit score go down, because the house is now 100% on my credit?Update info for answers:1. The only thing with his name on it left on my credit was the home loan.2. I already had the home loan on my credit--and I have been making the payment alone for a few years now.3. He has bad credit, but the things on his credit do not have my name on them/are not associated with me.
