Default Does a consumer have a legal right to...

...request this from mortgage lender? a) I'm in California (lender's in Texas and CA depending on who I talk to)b) I've been dealing with my mortgage co. since October about a modification. They have taken numerous applications (11 to be exact) over the phone, each time I am supposedly approved, they ask for various paperwork over and over and over and over again, shuffling me from one person and department to another like musical chairs.c) Then have NEVER not once sent me anything in writing re: the modification.d) They keep denying things they had told me or else change the story over the phone - am fed up with talking talking talking - talking is cheap and now I know why.Today after they switched me to the 3rd negotiator in 2 weeks and he asked for the same paperwork to be faxed again, I felt fed up and said can you send me this request in writing? I don't want to deal with anyone over the phone anymore. It's been a big waste of time. He said he's not allowed to email (the other negotiator was and even sent me this guy's email address). I said then mail me and he sounded like he wouldn't help with me loan if I was being difficult and if I wanted him to help I'd have to deal with him over the phone.Do I have any right to request they communicate with me in writing? I need a paper trail of this charade/abuse/deception/lies. And for the record they're Bank of America - bunch of CROOKS if there ever was one.I HATE BANK OF AMERICA THEY ARE THIEVES CROOKS AND LIARS!!!!!!!!!!Expert Realtor - they took $75 bil dollars from the gov and in return signed a contract that they'd use the money to provide modifications so yes, they do have to, especially when the program they signed up for is one I qualify for, considering my loan terms are different than the ones I signed up for but I guess in the end I'll just take them to court and sue them, am already looking for referrals....and that's fine I don't want pity, I asked a question not requested pity.
