Default My lender had sold my 2nd mortgage to a debt...
...Collection agency and offered Home affordable modification for? 1st loan. After loosing my job, I can afford to pay my 1st loan in full.What do I have to do to settle with the debt collector? If I settle to pay monthly lower payment,how long do I have to pay?Do I have to hire an attorney?If I file bankruptcy, will I be able to keep the house, with my 1st loan?(I live in California and 2nd loan was taken to purchase the home) What is best way to resolve this?
