What law allowed banks to trade/sell mortgages as
almost a commodity? Does anyone know what/when this law was signed. I know someone told me that during Clinton's 'reign' a law was signed that allowed mortgages to be sold that caused our current subprime crisis. What law also made it a 'right' for people to own a house and force banks to give out bad loans? Someone told me it was by a Democrat senator if it helps.Thanks, 10pts best answer
