the mortgage loans which almost destroyed our economy were? Alt A Loans. These loans required little or now documentation to verify income or even if you had a job. Wall Street genius types dreamed this up and many of the houses built in Arizona were purchased with these "No Doc" loans as they were called. These phony loans allowed the housing boom in Arizona which required mass numbers of Mexicans to build them on the cheap. Now all these No Doc Arizonians are demanding Documents from the same people they lured across the border to build their houses with No Document Loans that are being foreclosed, crashing their economy. Now they are mad at the people who built their houses?

I am trying to make sense out of this. You are saying that these people that took out No doc loans to have their homes built by illegal aliens for cheap, now cannot afford to pay for their house mortgages are now taking it out on the illegal aliens who built their homes. Yeah that makes sense? NOT!

The bogus loans created an unsustainable market which lured many illegal immigrants because there were plenty of jobs and no questions were asked. This happened all over the country, not just in Arizona. People complained at the time and tried to get the Feds to give a damn but they didn't (Repubs and Dems are both to blame). Yes -- it is time for them to go home -- they never should have been here in the first place because it was all a bubble created by the greedy. BTW -- the Alt A loans in my area were heavily concentrated in immigrant areas.
