Default Can I deduct my mortgage insurance premiums?

This is the only thing on my tax return that I don't understand. If it helps, I bought my house in '07.Here's what the little answer box said, and my AGI is under $50,000: Not all mortgage insurance premiums are deductible. For some people, their adjusted gross income (AGI) is too high to qualify for the deduction. For others, the mortgage insurance premiums don't meet all the requirements to be deductible. If your AGI is more than $100,000 ($50,000 if you're married filing separately), the amount of your mortgage insurance premiums that are otherwise deductible is reduced and may be eliminated.

Generally, mortgage insurance premiums can be claimed as a deduction on Schedule A.
