Default if a person has 300k in a 401k,and a mortgage of
450k at age 55whats better withdraw 200k and refi.or 300krefi?

I need more information. What is the assessed value of the home? Also, is that the only debt you have? What is your annual income? It's important to know your cash inflow and outflows.I wouldn't recommend withdrawing any money from your 401K, especially at the age of 55.
