Default when should my mortgage broker give me my HUD-1?

My mortgage broker is telling me he wont have my HUD-1 for my FHA loan until 24 hours or less before close. Is this accurate? He says the title company won't give him a final price until just before close.

Yes, because the info on the HUd changes day to day, as well as closing costs. The attny will get the numbers to the Mortgage lender so they can process a day or 2 before (cutting it a little close). There is alot of timing involved in a closing -attnys, brokers and banks all have to cooperate. They can get an estimated HUD, however.

Yes this is accurate. He is required by law to release a HUD statement out, 24hrs before closing.
