Hi I had my house forclosed about 2 months ago.my house was appreised for about $150,000i had 2 mortgages on the house one for $250,000and the second for about $65,000.now i checked my credit report and it stated that the first mortgage is closed.BUT for my second mortgage it states as charge off?i know what a charge off is for credit cards but is it the same of a mortgage since its secured loan?do i need to pay it off? is it going to be sent to a collection agancy?I dont make the money that i used to make. and have alot of bills on credit cards.what are my options?if i file for bankruptcy chapter 7. will it make the mortgage charge off go away???I really cant pay this $65,000 i can bearly keep up with my credit cards.thank you...
