Default How do I obtain CMHC insurance on my mortgage?

The economy I live in is so expensive I cant afford a condo. I have a good paying job, in the second tax bracket.

Therfore I want to buy a mobile home. Buying a mobile home isnt about the cost its about the life expectancy of the trailer. Most trailers live to be 30 years old.

A mobile home newer than 1980 costs about $100 000, once you factor in the lot rent, it becomes $200 000. I am preapproved for $180 000 only.

CMHC wont insure a mortgage for a home that is older than 1992. I dont have 25% to put down and cant borrow it from a friend.

What can I do?
CMHC = Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation
