Hi, I am a college student taking a political science course. One of my assigments is to write to one of the state's governement leaders, (senator, congressman) whoever fits the bill. I am writing to a congressman about the housing issue; about how america's servicing company (a mortgage company) is not honoring the new law in Washington. My mom is paying 62% of her income on the mortgage and qualifies for the program, she should only be paying 31% under this new law. So I wanted to know if anyone else is having this issue. If your mortgage company isn't honoring the plan and you wouldn't mind, please tell me just the name of the mortgage company/lender, and what percent of your income you pay towards the mortgage for my survey, it would really help me in my letter; because I can use rough statistics.
