Help. I dont know what to do about choosing

a mortgage lender. Kind of long.? A month ago I was told by a few different lenders that I would be able to get a loan. After finding a house I chose a Weichert Financial Lender. After the house went into attorney review I was then told by him that I would not be able to get the loan unless I had 20,000.00 in cash reserves. I asked him if It would be in my best interest to see if another lender could help us. He said that he could not tell me I cant go, but it could make things worse for the loan. On friday I started to panic. I felt I was running out of time so I contacted another broker that I was previously in contact with and asked if she could help me. I was very upfront with her about what happened. She put my loan to the underwriters and told me she will let me know. Well today we told the Weichert guy that we are seeing if another broker can help us. He said that we should not have done that because now we wont be able to get the loan. 5 minutes later he called my husband and told me he had an aproval for us.
He then told us we needed to call the other broker and tell her not to put our loan through. We dont know what to do or who to trust. We lost trust with the Weichert guy because we feel he was playing games but do we really want to take the loan away from him if he already obtained it for us. We think the whole time he was trying to get us a weichert funded loan when we really werent eligible for it. He had me stressing for a week when all the while we could have gotten the FHA loan. Of course thats just our opinion. Please help with any info you might have.

Also please dont be harsh. Ive had a really hard time with this.
